Default Clutch clicking

I did a search on clutch clicking and seems to be a common issue, but none of the posts ever mentioned a fix.

Issue is when I press the clutch all the way down to floor there is a clicking that can be heard and felt with my foot. Gear engages fine. It's an 04 with 35K.

Has anyone found a solution to this issue? Or instructions on how to fix?

Thank you.

search function is spotty, but i found it:

i did that and it helped quite a bit, but every now and then, i feel a little roughness in the bottom 10% of clutch travel. however, i used plain white lithium grease instead of the shin etsu grease that others have recommended.

also, i have a slight creak coming from the 3 or 4 springs on the pedal mechanism itself (under the dash). seems like greasing those up helps a bit.

one word of caution - when you pull the slave cylinder, don't let the piston fall out. if it does, you'll have to re-assemble and then bleed the clutch before you can drive.

A friend had an issue similar to yours. He took out the slave cylinder and checked the ball. His Slave Cyl. ball got a Little pointy at one end. Sanded that part off with sandpaper to smooth out the pointed area and made sure that the ball was round and smooth again. Put some Shin Etsu grease and his clutch pedal got allot better.

Again check the little ball and make sure it's all round and has no pointy section.
