Clutch pedal sticking upon releasing
I know there are threads out there about this but they're very old and I just wanted to know what the consensus is now.
So I began noticing that my clutch pedal would feel like it's sticking upon releasing the pedal. When I get in the car in the morning, it feels fine. But after driving it for around 20 minutes, it starts to feel like it doesn't come back up as fast. This makes it really annoying to shift into different gears.
I've replaced the slave cylinder thinking that was the problem but nothing changed.
I've read that it's possibly where the fork meets the release bearing or the guide that the release bearing rides on.
I know I can get in there and put some grease on the fork contacts but it seems nearly impossible to regrease the guide without dropping the transmission.

Also, someone told me (to my disbelief) that with a flashlight, some gymnastics, and grease stuck on a coat-hanger or zip-tie end, you can pull the fork and fumble some grease onto the tips without dropping the tranny. Lo and behold, it worked.
