This is my guess- A 13 gallon tank which may be exact, and 0.2 (witch could be an estimate) to account for fuel in the fuel lines.

Why do you think Honda wouldn't be able to correctly measure the capacity of a fuel tank? Is it that complicated?

If Honda says the tank is 13.2 gallons, and all evidence supports this, then why would you continue to be in disbelief that the tank holds 13.2 gallons?

I feel like the world just got a little dumber...

Really... they put in a buffer because people are stupid and will run out of gas.

I will just fill up before gas light comes on. I don't like driving around with the gas light on anyways.
Thanks for all the comments.

Out of curiosity, do you remember what the voltages were or if it was highly nonlinear?

Are you aware that 13.2 gallons is just a conversion from 50 liters?

When the gas light comes on, you can get about 50-60 more miles before you'll run the car out of gas.

Correct. My average fuel consumption is 10 liters per 100 km, so in my case I can travel about 100 kilometers more. About 60 miles.

I've put more than 13.2 gal in my "S" several times, the most was 13.75 gal's. I run with no bars left on the gas gauge when I know where the next gas station is and if I think I'll make it that far. I have never ran out of gas with the "S"-YET.

My gas light comes on with two bars left, and equals 10.99 gallons going in. So, theoretically, I have 2.3 gallons left.
