Default The legend--Billman!

I had a feeling…knew my car (2004 S2000) had to be handled by a specialist. Read about BILLMAN in this forum and just knew---and I was right! Traveled 3 hours, took a ferry and arrived at his door a few minutes late. In a matter of moments, the valve cover was off, the valves out and inspected…he went to work—said come back in 2 hours! Seriously? Custom valve adjustment, retainer inspection, spark plug inspection
new valve cover gasket and five new valve cover top sealing washers, Billman GenX Timing Chain Tensioner with lifetime guarantee, 4wheel brake fluid flush using ATE Type 200,clutch fluid replacement using ATE Type 200, throttle adjustment (lifetime), clutch adjustment (lifetime), Differential fluid replacement with Mobil1 75w90 Transmission service using Honda MTFrear axle nut tsb/re-torque (lifetime)front tire saver toe-in adjustment, eliminates inside tire wear, replace 4 spark plugs using OEMSpecNGK plugs two rear oem shocks installed using OEM original damper units and oem springs, cabin filter installed, oem Honda air filter installed, oem Honda Fix bumper, spare tire air, coil cover polish. And then he took me for a screaming test ride!! Whoa!!!
Nice young man, gifted, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Highly recommend…yes the trip is worth it!

yea, that did not happen in two hours by one person. maybe he had a second person helping him?

valve cover removal - 5 minutes
valve cover install - 5 minutes
valve adjustment - 20 minutes
retainer inspection - 5 minutes
spark plugs - 10 minutes
TCT - 5 minutes
brake flush - 15 minutes
clutch fluid - 10 minutes (still doing gravity bleed tho?)
throttle adjustment - 5 minutes
clutch adjustment - 5 minutes
diff fluid - 10 minutes
transmission fluid - 10 minutes
rear axle nut torque - 5 minutes
toe adjustment - 10 minutes
rear shock install - 20 minutes
cabin filter - 5 minutes
air filter - 5 minutes
spare tire air - 5 minutes
coil polish - 5 minutes
honda fix bumper - 5 minutes

2 hours and 45 minutes

in order to get all that done in 2 hours, we have to shave off 45 minutes somewhere...i don't see anywhere that has any minutes to shave off, unless more than 1 person worked on the car.

if this really was done in 2 hours, it would be really cool if billman can post a time lapse video of it happening. lol

To be fair the op said he had started on the car and then Bill said come back in 2 hours so it could have been abit more time. If you've seen Bill drive OR work, you know this is possible!

Also, some of those tasks can overlap. While trans fluid is draining, can start on diff. While brakes are gravity bleeding, can start on clutch.

I bet I could replace a cabin filter in less than 5 min. I bet Billman can do it in less than 1. There are probably other items on the list he could shave time off of.
