i dont know the part number for it..the one i found here was for 118 that comes with map sensor package??

honda dealership would be the way to go. not saying all sources on ebay are horrid but i've had my fair share of bad parts, mostly electronics; wrong part, cracked/chipped, wouldn't work.. def get it from honda.

When I had my is300, I ran into a similar problem which I needed to clean the MAF sensor with electronics cleaner. Could I use the same electronics cleaner to clean the MAP sensor in my AP1? It's the kind that leaves no residue.

My '03 S2000 started having this intermittent hesitation when I'd get it up around 6000rpm. I thought that it might be bad gas since my car only has 7500 miles on it, but after going empty and a fill up, the problem is back. This TSB seems to describe the problem I'm having perfectly. Hopefully it's this simple. I've ordered the tie wrap and bought some electrical contact cleaner. However, my car also threw a code and I don't know what to make of it. The code is P1456 (Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected). Any thoughts? Is it possible that it threw the code simply because of how bad the car was shaking, but it's realy not the correct code?

As far as i understand, the 'map whack' isn't the solution to the problem. Electrical resistivity changes from a loose MAP sensor connection are the issue. The ecu controls the engine based partially on this signal, which itself deviates from what it should be because of this loose connection. The TSB linked in the first post addresses this. A 'holder' (zip tie) holds the connection firm, preventing conductivity issues.

It seems as though i cant find the holder part from Honda anymore. I'm sure somebody could be creative with a regular zip-tie to better connect the sensor/plug. Good luck
