P0411/P1399 / check engine blinking

Question P0411/P1399 / check engine blinking

never had this happen but im overseas my nephew borrow my S and he drove it for a week already then i just got a called today he told me that the car stalled and died then he got it to start and it ran but it wouldnt go over 25mph and the check engine is blinking. i don't know what this could be if anyone knows please chime in and help me out. thanks

also rpm wont go over 6k in neutral car starts fine but this seems to be the problem

flashing cel is something serious....tell him to get an obd2 scanner tool and post the code he finds

If it's cold it won't go over 6k becuse vtec hates cold let it warm up

But before he does this fix the blinking cel becuse that is usually the post before the need new engine post

but it was running fine prior to all this..yes i will let him know to get the cell code before anything else. plus on warming up the car is in socal it doesnt get that cold he said it was 60* when he started it up and it started fine he had drove the car for a while then it started to slow down and after that is when this problem occur. so he pulled over and the car stalled but he then started it back up then noticed that it wouldnt go over 25mph.

I bet you he misshifted it and bent some valves, tell him to park it and don't touch it.

no not really it would take a few serious miss shifts to cause any trouble... atleast it wont mess up right away. so i doubt that.
