Default Removing bottom AC compressor bolts for oil pan removal

Anyone know how to remove the bottom bolts on the AC compressor? I'm installing a baffled oil pan and need to remove these in order to drop the pan.... I for the life of me can't find an area where a wrench/ratchet etc fits

Hey, I just got done swapping my clutch, and took out these bolts (although i didnt have to , the manual said to do it so i did anyway.) I used a ratchet with a swivel head and some sharp force to break the bolts loose. It wasnt easy, but you can get a socket on there if you use a swiveling ratche head.

Condenser is in front of the radiator. Unless you're talking about the compressor. In which case this topic has been beaten to death.

I do it from underneath using a ratcheting box end wrench with a flexible head, as you have to approach it on a 45 degree angle. Others have done it from above the engine bay but I haven't . I mentioned this in your other post.

You have to do it from underneath. I've done plenty of A/C work, and it's nearly impossible to remove the compressor from the top, I mean it might be possible, but I'm not masochistic enough to try.

Which bolts did you remove? The ones I was told to remove are impossible to reach. I went out and bought a set of these:

And still couldn't get to them

There is a triangle bracket on the oil pan with 3 12mm bolt heads. Do not touch them. I can tell you are trying to, and it won't happen.

Just remove the two lower compressor bolts with 14mm heads that thread into the triangle bracket, then the pan and triangle bracket come off as one. Be sure to bolt the bracket to the new pan before installing.
