Default S2000 won't start

Hi folks, looking for some help/advice on what to do.

Got an S2000 and it turns over but won't start. Key symbol on dash comes on then goes out when turning ign on. getting fuel up to the fuel rail. No spark on any cylinders. don't appear to be getting fuel into the cyl when cranking over with the spark out to try and check for spark. Have checked timing and it all lines up. All earths are in place. All fuses ok. The car has taken a heavy hit on the side at the A pillar/back of wing on the drivers side (for UK) or passenger side for US so is right in the area of the interior fusebox but the fusebox doesn't seem to have taken a hit even though there has been some cabin intrusion from the chassis. I'm a bit stumped as to what it could be that is stopping it from going. Any thoughts on things to check?

Well I always go back to the basics of tuning when the engine doesn't start. It only needs 3 things: fuel, timing, and spark. If no spark I would check the coil packs. Start there!

He already checked those things. He has no spark, and no fuel. And whatever it is, it seems to be related to the accident that crushed part of engine compartment.

What obe single tging can take out boty spark and fuel? It seems to be something electrical. It took out the ignition, as well as the injectors (and or the fuel pump).

I would look at something basic in electrical system.

did you try a manual start, rolling downhill and engaging the clutch?

Google "S2000 fuel Inertia switch" or "S2000 inertia switch". Don't forget to look at "images". Hard to find, I understand.

Or maybe "S2000 immobilizer switch"

US cars don't have one, but I believe European spec cars do have one. A hard hit would cause the inertial switch to cut off at least fuel, maybe more.

I am getting fuel to the rail, but the injectors dont appear to be firing as there is no smell of fuel coming out the cylinders with the spark plugs removed

this is a no go because of the damage sustained.
