I pickedmup my lower hose from the dealer earlier today and installed it. No more leaks. Thanks for the help guys.

Although i still think i need to bleed it since sometimes temp gauge spikes to 4 bars then goes away intermittently.

You've probably got it figured out by now, but I wanted to mention that you probably don't need to bleed it again. I've always been able to "burp" the air out over a few days with some spirited driving.

I have a question about bleeding. I replaced my thermostat a few weeks ago, and bleed the system via the method you mentioned, but after a week or so, it warmed up again. I checked the Radiator fluid and it was a little low, so i topped it off (about a cup of coolant) and bled the system again. My question is, is it a leak or was their that much air in my system? I have never noticed any spots under my car, but ill leave a pan out and see if anything collects.

Just turn the heater to full hot, then do some spiritted driving with several high RPM sprints with engine breaking. That should help burp the air out of the heater core. Make sure you top off the radiator and reservoir before you do it.

No heat=air in the system.

I dont drive any s2k after coolant service until the heat is hot.

Find my post on bleeding, it will take you one minute. Not sure if I can agree with driving the car to get the air out.

Bleed the air till you get the green (coolant) or you will be bleeding green ($$$$$) for engine replacement.
