Default Valve cover/crankase venting

Can the vent/vacuum hose going to my K&N CAI be replaced with a filtered baffle ? Is pulling a vacuum necessary for proper crankcase venting ? I just did my Izzie air pump delete and was thinking of ways to keep my air temps cooler, thoughts?

Yea im wondering the same thing. Would it be okay to connect to vacuum block? But when psi increases couldnt it suck oil into the block?

Just the vent going to intake/air-box, pre TB. Not the PCV going to intake manifold.

oh ok thought so. The two breather hoses can be connected to an oil catch can to solve ur problem. I have them connected to one so I don't cover the track with smoke.

I was only thinking the one hose? Would it need to go to a catch can? I thought it only vented hot air from under valve cover. Does the F20 not have a baffle on the inside of valve cover to prevent oil from being sucked into the air intake?

the hoes closer to the front bumper don't need catch can. But it can be hooked to a catch can. It's a smart idea to have both hooked to a catch can. The f20 blows by oil a lot more than the f22.
