This is what Bob is referring to ... My wife & I both have one ... They really, really do work ... We have used them on LONG hauls..( out west 3 times ) I HIGHLY recommend them...
Wow. That is really interesting. Goodness knows I've spent way more than that on other remedies that were ineffectual.

Thanks!

My first thought when looking at the thread title was," well, the car certainly is aging better than I am "

Before I sold the car I would think about getting second medical opinions.
Heck, get the second opinion irrespective of the car.

getting old is not for wimps for sure.
as frequently observed that when we're young we don't recognize that we are signing high interest, balloon payment loans on our bodies that will come do in our fifties.

the good news is that unless you have pressing financial concerns, it appears S2000 are appreciating,
you can be dawdle along and make up your mind at your leisure.

If you enjoy it as much as you say, I would recommend you exhaust all your options before giving up. One of the main reasons I sold mine was my wife's back issue when riding in the S and believe me I tried everything before giving up.

Thanks all!

Appreciate the moral support. A BackJoy is on it's way and will be here on Sunday. Can't hurt.

Yea, it won't be a decision made lightly to walk away from the car. I put a HFC on it and had it retuned in the fall and it's a real kick in the backside to drive around town now. I love the mixture of exhaust and intake noise when the VTC kicks in at 3,600 rpm. It's intoxicating and causes me to be a LOT more aggressive with the throttle just to hear it.

As mentioned, the good news is the car is going up in value. Other than the HFC it's box stock and now worth in the mid $20's according to KBB. So holding onto it won't be a financial liability.

cheers and have a great weekend!

Please post your thoughts about the Back Joy. I may also try one. How many miles do you have on your S? We are at about 98,000 miles. I don't know which will be worn out first, the car or me.

I'm about to turn 20k miles on Jessica

Don't quite have a report on the BackJoy yet. It doesn't "seem" to make a difference, but my driving position is definitely different.

Stay tuned....

Joanne has about 45,000 miles on her Backjoy plus a few years at work before she retired. She told me on our current trip it needs to be replaced as her back was beginning to act up. So it is a very cheap fix vs. Selling the car !!

I also have some sort of back issue I am guessing. I get a 'dead leg' feeling in my right leg after an hour or so driving. I get it sometimes in our other vehicles, but not as quickly or as often as I do in the S. The trip to Colorado starting tomorrow morning could be interesting. The back insert looks interesting if other try it and give a review.
