Any suggestions on selling old vinyl records
The wife has a collection of 45’s, mostly from ‘60s, and for the most part in their original covers and sleeves. She had 24 color covers; 3 were missing the record. I estimated she has 164 records in sleeves; three-quarters are in the original sleeve. She stored them since new in record boxes with individual dividers between each sleeved record. I took pictures of the color jackets and color sleeves. Several labels had plain sleeves. Here's the full covers.

I thought looking at the old color sleeves was pretty cool as well.

Remember these boxes... Next I suppose I have to create a spread sheet and list of them.

I took a bunch of LPs to Half Priced Books. Only got $15 but I hated to just dump them.

Personally, I think it's going to be a lot of effort for not much return, but you can check out these links and others:

I can tell you right now, at most, $.10 to $.25 a piece at a flea market. Maybe. Donate them to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Unless you have some rare doo-wop from the 50's, not worth fooling with.
Sorry, Dave. White singers and groups from the 60's just aren't that collectable. The picture sleeves might be worth something in excellent condition, as long as the records were also.

My wife has most of Elvis's records and sleeves as well as Buddy Holly, Doo Wop groups. Platters, Dion, Pat Boone, Chuck Berry, Ricky Nelson and others of that 56-64 era before the British invasion. I would like to sell them but don't know who to sell them to. I may look for local buyers.

My section manager just got rid of a bunch of albums.
He had the normal 65 year old's record and some older jazz stuff.
100 albums got him $100. Apparently their is a used record market in Boston.
