I finally got to see ZZTop this summer. Now the only person/ group that I haven't seen that I REALLY want to see is Jimmy Buffett. He is playing in Vegas, but not at Margaritaville, he is playing at the MGM. I wouldn't mind paying $250 perr ticket if it were at Margaritaville, but not at a general theater. The tickets are less thenthat, but when I add air fair and hotel costs, it is a $750+ weekend.

^ He was at Nissan Pavilion here a couple of times recently. But it's a venue I refuse to go to. The place is a disaster to get in and out of. Hours of time wasted. I'd rather be wasted in Margaritaville.

I'd go for the cheapest venu and seats I could for a Buffet concert. The sound is generally great everywhere and the parrot-heads are much more fun to watch than Jimmy or the Coral Reefers.

I saw them in Cleveland. They usually have 3 shows in December and the all sell out quickly. I have a couple of their DVD's.

We had gone 3 years in a row and skipped last year. I really did miss it.

Saw George Thorogood in Aug and Jackson Browne in Sept. Very different acts. But both were great. George was definitely b-b-b-b-bad.
yes, very different, but 2 of my favorites.
