Finally got around to watching Spotlight last night on Netflix. I'm sure most of seen it. A couple nights ago we watched a good one on Netflix that I had heard of before (but then I don't really follow new movies that much). It was The Finest Hours. If you like drama and action its a good one about the Coast Guard.

^Interesting. I thought it was okay but it's one I don't want to see again, whereas my male significant other loved it. Not a chick flick after all?

I finally saw Steve Jobs and Bridge of Spies...both excellent.

And The Big Lebowski...let's just say it was definitely a Coen Brothers movie! I liked it, but it was weird.

John Goodman was great.

Just watched Hidden Figures. Sometimes really good movies are also big box office movies. Going to a highly hyped movie and finding out it is better than you expected: Great. Seeing a film about African-American WOMEN who were heroes because of their work in MATH and ENGINEERING? Fantastic. Maybe this whole STEM thing is catching on.
