Sorry, looks like the Red Wings are going to miss the playoffs. First time in like 25 years? 
Duck's Vermette got 10-day suspension for mildly whacking a ref's leg. Nyquist gets 6-days for almost taking Spurgeon's eye out. Kinda odd.

Wings are teasing everyone with a win over the Caps followed by a rare win over the Pens at home. . . but we fans know they are a little late for the party this year.

Some interesting trades already and its not even Wed.
I watched part of the ending of Slap Shot tonight. Just made me want to see the whole movie one more time! Following the end, they did a 1/2 hour show about it since its been 40 years. I had no idea how much of it was factual.
