Default IndyCar

The first race of the new season is this afternoon. I've said many times that I am not a fan of city street racing with these cars but it beats no racing. Here's the 2017 driver lineup for anyone who cares:

Penske Chevrolet’s:
Simon Pagenaud, Will Power, Helio Castroneves, Josef Newgarden, Juan Pablo Montoya (Indy 500 only).

Ganassi Honda’s:
Scott Dixon, Charlie Kimball, Tony Kanaan , Max Chilton.

Andretti Honda’s:
Ryan Hunter Reay, Alexander Rossi, Takuma Sato, Marco Andretti.

Coyne Honda’s:
Sebastien Bourdais, Ed Jones.

Schmidt Peterson Honda’s:
Mikhail Aleshin, James Hinchcliffe, Jay Howard (Indy 500 only).

Foyt Chevrolet’s:
Carlos Munoz, Conor Daly.

Rahal Letterman Honda’s:
Graham Rahal, Oriol Servia (Indy 500 only).

Carpenter Chevrolet’s:
Ed Carpenter, JR Hildebrand, Spencer Pigot (road/street courses only).

Dreyer & Reinbold:
Sage Karam (Indy 500 only).

S2000 days are finally history, as they used Chevy's trucks to haul the driver's around the track for intro's.

I thought it was great when the winner's wife said the hell the interview and jumped in with the big kiss.... which made him tear up!

I don't know why F1 and Indy doesn't just merge. Then you could have an international event with five or six races in the US.

Firestone replaced Honda as race sponsor.

Congrats to Sebastien for winning after starting last!

Maybe so for St. Pete but we should still be on for Mid-Ohio. Honda sponsors that race.

According to our contact (Pete) Mid-Ohio has asked for our assistance again this year. NASCAR is still an uncertainty.
