Default My Pillow

Slow night on TV and we were watching old re-runs on one of the channels that specializes in them. They repeatedly run an infomercial on MyPillow. The Company "claims" they sell 30,000 a day and there's video showing a big sweatshop in MN. Reportedly they sell two levels, one to box stores like Costco, Bed & Bath, etc., or a more premium one direct (only difference I could determine was the pillow casing itself; i.e. twice as much strength in key areas).

I'm temped to try one and would probably get their 2 for 1 offer which means $100 for two pillows. Has anyone tried them?

I've seen the ad, but that's it. Waiting for your report.

Yep...seen those ads a lot!! Not sure I'd buy one. I really like down pillows (or a mix) and I seriously doubt there is any down in them.

EDIT: I looked up the company to see what they are made out of and found this. Might discourage you.

Bottom line: "Most customers complain about the overall quality of the pillow, with many mentioning that they would not recommend MyPillow to prospective buyers."

I've always had great luck with my IKEA mattress and pillows (which are replaced every 5 years).

We picked up the "MyPillow" pillows for the whole family once I had tried mine and liked it. They're nice because you can order different amounts of fill according to your size. I personally could never find a pillow thin enough until I bought one of these. They have different size foam pieces that interlock to create the fill. We take them everywhere now... hotels, camping, etc... I've never had a problem sleeping but this does seem to make me sleep even deeper. Love it!

We needed new pillows and my wife bought them with the 2 for 1 offer on the QVC website. We've had them for about 9 months and have had none of the problems sited in the negative reviews.

Dorothy says it's the best pillow she's ever had.

I find it a bit too fat for my liking while sleeping but it's great as a prop for reading in bed [or watching hockey games ...Is it time yet?]

For what it worth of the 2400 plus reviews on AMAZON.COM 63% give them 5 or 4 stars, 19% 3 or 2 stars and 18% 1 star.

Deb, I read the complaints on the BBB site last night. Most centered on the high price and confusion over their 2 for 1 offer. As far as the product, there was a few complaints about lumpiness. However, if they sell the volume they claim I didn't think less than 300 complaints to the Better Business Bureau over the last three years was of much concern.

Thanks for the feedback from those of you who have purchased them.

Mary and I have them. We like them. Don't they have a money back satisfaction guarantee?

If the 30,000 a day sales is accurate, wealthy retirement can't be far away!
