There are three truck loads of walls, trusses and lumber sitting on our lot. Assembly starts tomorrow or Tuesday.

We listed our existing house and have our first two showings tomorrow. Let the fun begin.

The new house is coming along. They were putting the roof on today along with the plumbing rough-in. Basement floor and garage floors are to be poured tomorrow.

Dave, were you able to have any contingency written into the sale of current house, so that you don't have to move before the new house is ready? Not sure if that option is common these days, or if it's a deal breaker for the buyer.

The listing only refers to "negotiable" for possession. We are either holding out until we are ready to leave or to rent back the house from the new owners. If all else fails it would take at least 30 days to evict us
