In 1955 Joan Webber had a #1 hit with this song but she gave birth to a daughter immediately after and never toured or promoted herself and so this was her only hit. Haunted in later life by mental and emotional problems she spent her remaining years as a recluse and died in a mental hospital in 1981. Her only hit song, but a great song.
