So, NASCAR has changed the rules for the Daytona 500, and in my opinion, shot itself in the foot, big time. I stopped watching a long time ago, but you could see the writing on the wall. Even here at our local track, Dover International Speedway, they have just removed about a third of the seats to make it look on TV like the crowds are still there. NOT! I heard about that. The only place that might work is small tracks. At the larger ones it means boring races in a row instead of just one boring race. I understand they did it to show more ads. The only time I watch NASCAR is when they are on road courses.
