Sometimes dreams do come true.

Rob,
As I think about this more, calling it dreams I think diminishes the effort that went into it.
It wasn't luck or some Disney wish, just simple hard work.

Thank you everyone for you good wishes. We are very, very proud of Adam and his older brother Andrew. We have two great sons.
Liz and I would like to think it has something to do with the way we raised them, but the truth is we're very lucky.
Adam is one of the hardest working young adults I've ever known. He has always been. Engineering is a very difficult discipline but if anyone has ever been up to the challenge it's Adam. I think he'll do very well at Honda. But no, engineering is not a dream, its hard work. Getting an opportunity to work for Honda has long been Adam's dream. And it's really nice when a dream comes true.

Rob,
I feel proud just reading your post. It isn't like I saw Adam every day, or every week. But through your posts on this web site, our meets at events, and our friendship, I got to watch Adam grow up and got to know him a little bit. I'm so happy for him. I'm so happy for the proud parents. And I know that you, Rob, must be bursting with pride, knowing that your son is going to work for a company that you have admired for years. You recognized the value in their product and their vision. You raised your son to recognize and respect the Honda vision. And as an adult, he achieved the skills and demonstrated the promise that convinced that same company to hire him. The circle is complete. He is part of the future. I can't wait to see what he does next.
