Or at least color coordinated mats.

Saw the convertible S at my local Mercedes dealer and the tag was over 225K. Beautiful car but if I owned one and it got dented I couldn't stop crying. My E350 is just fine for me.

In not just Audi. I was at my local mechanic waiting for an inspection when a customer called in to schedule a visit for his BMW that wouldn't start after a battery changeout. The advisor indicated that there were some 8 odd computers to reset and they charged 2 hours labor for the service.

I probably use about 50% of all the electronic info in my 2 bimmers. Too many distractions. I don't need to use all that crap.

But you are paying for it. Initially and when it breaks.

I'm convinced the only way to have a new/German car in a sensible way, is to lease one, because you can factor it costing X per month and then can give it back before you have to fix it.

It does kind of put a wrinkle in the old " disconnect battery before servicing" instruction now doesn't it?
