Default Yo Patty, gona go see the desert blooms?

I heard that the flowers are popping out in the desert from all of the rains.
Are you going to go get us some nice pictures?

She posted on FB yesterday that she is on her way to her place in Kennedy Meadows. No internet there, but I bet there will be pics when she returns!

I'm on my way home and in the nasty town of Adelanto, CA, having a dry, tough and luke warm fish sandwich at Carl's Jr. I'll be driving on through next time. But to answer your question, the flowers are blooming in the lower elevation deserts but not quite yet in the higher elevation desert, where I drove through to get to Kennedy Meadows. The lower elevations warm up sooner in the year. There's still snow on the shady hillsides at Kennedy Meadows. It was in the 20's on Thursday and Friday nights. Loved it. It's supposed to be in the high 80's at home this week.

I don't have to go far to see wild flowers. I took this from my bedroom deck upstairs. Those are wild lupine and mustard. In the 9 years I've lived in this house the hill behind my house has never been so covered in wildflowers.

Pic didn't show up, Patty. I stole this from your FB page. Let's see if it works.

I saw her pic earlier, but now it's not there. Strange...it was not the same pic you got from FB.
