For something as simple as an evap system--yeah just bring it back to stock. It might be worth it to illegally smog if you have a complicated turbo setup or something, but for an evap system, just revert back and leave it as-is so you're good for subsequent smogs as well.

That's the downside of Cali with respect to us enthusiasts, some turn an eye, but with this new Star-Smog effort, getting away with things may be harder to accomplish.
See if you can get replacement carb e.o. stickers, I believe K&N is good with those type of things, although I am not sure about DC. Good luck!

Good luck.
What's worse than not having an air pump, is having a 2006+ and the smog guy THINKS you're supposed to have an air injection system. I had to dig up a an emissions sticker (the one that's attached to the oem hood...i have an aftermarket) just to show him that 06+ didnt' have air injection. His smog book/Bible told him it was supposed to have one >.>

hey whats up bud I'm a smog tech maybe I can help you out? so I read that you deleted your evap canister? MIL on for any evap codes? is the evap readiness monitor complete? ill be willing to help out a fellow s2ki member. let me know!
