Day 4

Work time: 1.5 hours

Pulled the S out to get a good look at her in the sunlight...a few leftover wax spots but no biggie. I keep finding tiny imperfections everywhere I look. Little scratch here just at the right angle of light, little dent there that I've never noticed. This is what I hate about detailing! Interior was simple compared to the last 3 days though. Vacuumed it all out, 303'd all the vinyl in the car, including the seat and seat backing. Cleaned the carpets, cleaned the leather (what little there is) and rain-x'd the windshield. Safe to say, Im done until next year. Learned a lot of lessons this go around, so now it's all about retention. Thanks for reading!

What no sealant ! Nice job, an occasional wash or dusting followed up with a detail spray or light coat of wax and you should be good.

Looks good man! I just used the 3M headlight lens restoration kit, it was pretty good. I used it on my wife's MDX also. I am going to clay bar my car, and use my Griots buffer for the first time--- VERY EXCITE! Your pics have given me inspiration.

I try...it aint perfect, but it's a damn site better than it was
Well, that's all you can ask for. Besides, if you drive the car (at all) it will never be perfect. The only way to have the paint be perfect is to keep it as a trophy. And that would be nothing short of S2000 blasphemy.

tr00f.com This post makes me feel better
