UPDATE 3/10/03

I had a brief informal meeting with the Irvine Company last week. Here are the details as of today:

These are confirmed:

1. When: June 7th
2. Parking: So far we got 100 Slots blocked right now. (more info on March 26th 2003)
3. 200 Seats blocked off for the movie.
4. We are in the processes of hiring 4-5 Securities along with Irvine Spectrum Security.
5. We are allocated 4 cars to be parked in from of the movies. These cars will not be roped off BUT WILL HAVE 1 personal security allocated for these 4 cars at all times.
6. These 4 slots will be sold (TBA) in order to raise funds for this event, and to pay for that personal security watching thier cars.

Problems/Working on

1. Pre-meeting: Cannot park 150+ cars in one lot. That's a red flag. We are working on a "solution" right now, perhaps having 6 meeting points, and meeting up at one neutral point for the rally.

2. Food: The number of seats I confirm is the number of seats I am liable for. ie: If I book 200 seats and 175 people eat, then I am liable foe 25 people at $X.XX of money.

3. How to prevent gate Crashers: Because of the limited amount of space that we have, any gatecrashers will eliminate the possiblity of you having:

a. Parking spot
b. Movie Seat
c. Eating arrangement
d. Adequate Security for you car.

Some solutions: Wrist bands and markers for the cars. Each cars will be labeled with the participant number on this list. Only the marked cars, will be able to come to the parking lot and park via our security.

People: Of course there are going to be "Extra" people coming. We are thinking of imploying wrist bands and only allowing people with wrist bands to enter the "blocked" movies and "blocked" eating area via our security.

4. Prices: We are trying our best to keep prices to a minimum. Our goal is < 5.00 per person. 5.00 (estimated value) will be allocated to: (PLEASE GET PAYPAL ACCOUNT SET UP NOW)

1. Security for the cars
2. Blocked parking
3. Blocked seating (in the middle of the movies)
4. Blocked Dining
5. Waiver forms
6. Wristbands
7. White shoe polish (markers for the car)

Shall there be extra money at the end, we will use this money for future events, or take the "TITS Crew" to dinner. We will be needing team leaders for this event, for for their time, they will be rewared.

I will keep you guys updated as much as I can. I will be personally asking for help (Team Leader), so no need to apply.

Keep reading this thread for updates. We still have slot availible. (Waiting list) There will always be people freaking out over 5.00 bucks, so chances of getting in is really good.
