Default Best Flex Fuel Solution DBW AP2?

I have searched on this a bit but am still not sure what's the best approach. I have a TTS/Rotrex supercharged 2006 S2000 tuned with FlashPro, but I am interested in adding Flex Fuel capability. The car is 90% track only at this point and it seems I am headed further in that direction every year.

Ideally too I would like the maintain my OBDII port as I like using it for a Bluetooth OBD reader + Harry's Lap Timer.

What are the options for me? It seems like the AEM Series 2 used in conjunction with my factory ECU, but I've heard some people having issues with idle and such with the two working in parallel.

I would just run the aem series 2 and ditch the obd2 port and the factory ecu. My flex fuel tune up with my aem series 2 is a dream come true. Flex fuel is one of the best mods ever for any boosted car.

So can I get a setup that will replace everything for a 2006+ car? I found this one googling around: https://www.maperformance.com/produc...2000-2006-2008

the aem ems replaces the factory ecu. With the aem you will loose the function of the obd port.

This post seems to indicate you still use the factory ECU: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/member-s.../#post23658105

I thought I read of issues with idle control when the two are used together, is that true?

Like I said. The aem is a stand alone engine management system. The stock ecu is gone and you loose all obd functions. The aem ecu plugs into to the factory harness where the factory ecu normally plugs in.

Ok not to beat a dead horse but this applies to 2006+ / DBW cars too? And all dash functions work?

Sorry to keep asking its just all the conflicting information out there. I am also curious why SoS doesn't sell an AEM Series 2 setup for 2006+

Hey I just talked to Jeff at SoS and he says AEM stopped offering the PnP setup (30-6053) because it required piggybacking the stock ECU, a lot of the dash functions didn't work, was tricky to mount, etc..

I think I might just wait for their Infinity setup for 2006+, sounds like its almost ready to release.

I'm going to assume the AEM isn't California CARB legal since there's no ODB-II port? They use it when smog-checking our cars.
