Hey fellas. Any possibility of a Stargazing or Blue Ridge / Helen, GA drive? Because of other events going on, I'm thinking Friday or Saturday night would be ideal for Stargazing and Thursday would be ideal for the Blue Ridge / Helen, GA. Post if there's any interest?

The Canadian caravan will be going through Helen friday about mid morning, possibly for late breakfast, before making our way North to Tellico Plains.

How long would the drive be? And I would think Friday would work out better since Saturday is the banquet and then bourbon tasting and socializing.. This would also be weather permitting. With that being said, I'd be really interested in a Friday night cruise. Thanks for starting the thread!

Star gazing is definitely on my list. Most years they have done one along the Cherohala Skyway, I guess the higher up the better view for stars. Not sure what is the best date , I know Darcy and I discussed a night drive on Thursday evening, but Friday is good too and I don't mind doing more than one. Saturday is good depending on how much people plan on drinking at the banquet and bourbon drinking event. I'm down to doing this and I am flexible on the date.

One more note on Thursday is that I'll be part of the OKI group caravanning from Cincinnati and we usually get to Gatlinburg in time for dinner and then head to Fontana to check in. By the time we check in it's usually fairly late. Not saying you need to plan around us, but DEFINITELY saying I'm interested in joining! haha
