Default 2017 SCCA Club Racing

Well, I guess i'll throw this out there. 2017 is upon us and I'm ready to fly back and forth from India to race. The SCCA Majors and Divisional races all are leading up to the Runoffs in Indianapolis at the end of September.

I'm going to have my car in E-Production at Blackhawk Farms May 6-7, Pittsburgh Int'l May 13-14 and August 13-14 at Grattan Raceway and then the runoffs Sept 25-Oct1st.
the majors schedule is located here https://www.scca.com/pages/2017-majors-schedule

Maybe I'll some of you out there. In between Blackhawk and Pittsburgh will be a massive revamp, with the new engine going in, some additional suspension work and a dyno session to get things tuned.

What events are you going to make it to? Anyone who wants to attend as crew is more than happy to contact me...i could use the help!

I don't know about the other races but I live in Indianapolis and will be at the runoffs so I could possibly lend a hand that week. Let me know if you need anything including where to go in Indy.

Yes, the car is the one that Peter built. I bought it from him last year after a little test run in it. I've made a few changes and improvements, and this year we are getting rid of the stock engine and putting a F22c in it.

I was there as well...but in my spitfire.

If you're around for any of the races above let me know. And if you're at the runoffs look me up, peter and I will be paddocked next to each other or near each other i'm sure.

I'm sure i could use someone to help me with kpro tunining...I'll be hitting up the dyno at Slow Motion in Sundbury, Ohio between blackhawk and PIRC to get the new engine installed and tuned. I'm going to likely leave things alone as it's far more complicated than a carb.

just a week until the "All Bets Are Off Majors at Blackhawk Farms"

E-Production has 10 cars lined up and it should be a good field with some very fast cars.

I haven't been to blackhawk in a few years, and never in the S, throw on top of that i actually haven't driven any car (well other my Toyota Innova to the clubhouse and back) since August of Last year!

I'm going to try and get over for the test day on friday, but apparently I have a shed load of parts in the trailer i need to organize, some new axles to put on and a bunch of routine maintenance to do.

Hope all goes well for you. With you in India and your car and all your stuff stuffed in your trailer and trying to work with others on major changes to your car, this has to be quite the adventure!
