Steering Wheel Retrim Service
I am able to offer a steering wheel retrim service on an exchange basis.
I can provide retrim in any colour leather and stitching combo, ie, black leather - red stitching, blue leather - white stitching, basically whatever you want.
If you would like perforated leather then that can also be done at no extra cost.
The leather is NOT cheap leather, its nice thick leather of VERY good quality.
The type of stitching is cross stitching.
Here is mine which i just fitted tonight.
Old steering wheel (nice and worn):
New retrimmed steering wheel:
The finish of the leather matches the airbag leather a lot better than the standard steering wheel leather.
I do have a spare S2000 steering wheel which i retrim for you to your spec so that you are not without a steering wheel on your car. i will then send you out the retrimmed steering wheel and you then send me your old one.
£140 per retrim including postage.
Any questions please pm me.

Took me 5 mins!
Here are the steps:
Disconnect battery
Remove the 2 covers on the side of the steering wheel.
Remove the 2 torx bolts on both sides.
Remove the airbag and disconnect the airbag connector.
Remove the 14mm bolt holding on the steering wheel.
Pull the steering wheel towards you - don't do what i did and smash yourself in the nose when it comes off!!!!!!
Very simple.

can you do a pattern like the omp suede steering wheels with a yellow strip at the top of the wheel?
like this:
id be interested in a stock wheel with black suede and a yellow 3/4-1" strip at the top with yellow stitching if its possible?
could you also trim my airbag in the same suede material?
thanks rob

oh ok
thats a shame as i really like the stock wheel but want it trimmed in a nicer material for track days,
how bad do you think the creases would be?
also i am gonna be running with the air-bag not opperational so would you trim it in that case?

Yeah if you are happy with having the airbag non operational then i will be fine with that.
Let me get back to you on the creases, i'll have a try on my spare one and see what its like :-)

Nice work mate! I am guessing you could change where the join that is on the bottom spoke could be put at the 12 with extra stitching to replicate the omp.
