International Meet Update:

Confirmed:

1. We have a permit and have at least 100 Parking spaces.
2. We have a 250+ Seats RSVP for the movie.
3. We have wristbands, as a form of ID for the people to enter the Movies and Food.
4. We have markers as a form of ID for the cars to pass security at the blocked off parking for this event.
5. 4 VIP PARKING LOCATIONS (price: TBD/TBA)

Working on:

1. The amount of security we need and the prices.
2. Prices and dates for payments
3. Meeting location for roll call
4. RSVP for the food.

VERY IMPORTANT

We need to vote on the food situation. I am very concern with RSVP-ing many seats at the restaurants and having people cancel at the end and leaving me with a large bill.

Here is the limited menu that we have: (to make thing easier for the chef)

1. Burgers/Fries/Drink= Approx 15.00 a head
2. BBQ Chicken Sandwich/fries/drink = Approx 15.00 a head
3. Tuna Melt/fries/drink = 15.00 a head
4. Salad (Chicken/beef/plain)+drink = 15.00 a head.

These prices reflect Food, Tax, Tip (18% for a large group) Out the door.

Here is the hard part, do we prepay ahead of time? This will ensure me that I won

I will do whatever it takes to make it logistically easier. I assume that means Pre-Paying??

I have some questions:

1) Is that the set menu, or are we voting on those 4 choices? If so, burgers (#1) or BBQ sandwiches (#2) sound best.

2) In your example of John, the $15 a head covers the food, but what does the extra $5 a head cover? Is that the price of the movie (which would be cheap)? Or are you talking about security and parking? B/c I would think that security/parking should be per VEHICLE, not per number of people.

I'm personally expecting to pay for food and tickets for 2 people, but parking, etc., for 1 vehicle. Is this right?

Thanks for organizing this monster!

What restaurant are we getting the food?

$15 for burger/fries/drink makes me think of the Carl's Jr. commercial with them trying to say $6.00 for a burger is alot... but let's see...

$11.75 order with 8% tax is = $12.69
$12.69 with 18% tip is = $14.97 (close enough to $15.00)

Not to make it any more difficult on your planning, but close to $12 dollars at for burger/fries/drink kinda makes me think...

Plus, I can see the restaurant now... packed as hell with our BIG group, and I can expect crappy service.

Any of the 350Z'ers (or anyone else) wanna do lunch at another restaurant in the Spectrum after the movie? We can order ANYTHING on the menu, and I'm sure the price will be about the same.
