Default Twin-Turbo?

I was just wondering if it would be possible to put a twin-turbo on an S. If so would it be worth it because of all the expense in rebuilding the car to handle it. If not, let me know so I can tell the person who told me this that he's stupid.

the engine bay is way to cramped to run a twin style manifold, more less 2 compressors. On most setups 1 large single turbo will make just as much if not more power than a twin setup, so basically its just not a good idea

The twin setup reduces turbo-lag dramatically.

That's the big idea.

It has been done although I don't think the problems were resolved. There was a pic on here several months ago. Some guy had one at a show or something. The car had to be towed to and from the show. IT DID NOT RUN! Looked real purdy sitting there with its hood open and its turbo guts hanging out for all to see but what's the point if you have to tow the car everywhere to show people?

How about trying a twin sequential turbo system. Would probably not be very drivable but maybe with enough fortification you could get some insane amounts of power (1000+) run something like 60-80psi boost

A one car demolition derby! And a short lived one at that.
