Default Authentication error on pages with certain .gifs

So, as the title says I get an error stating "Authentication required" and prompting me to enter a username and password. I've tried typing in my S2Ki username and password to no avail. The weirdest thing to me is that it only started doing this to me when I upgraded to a paid membership, never once had this problem in my years of lurking the forums or the day that I actually signed up, just once I paid. Not sure if anybody else had this issue or know a workaround for it? Kind of annoying having to hit cancel once for every single .gif that is on a page.

I think everyone is having this issue. It is probably a mere coincidence that it started happening when you purchased your membership. I have a feeling that IB is testing something in preparation for a big change. Please bear with us.

This has been going on since Easter. Annoying. Click the X and it goes away.

A username and password are being requested by https://www.s2ki.com. The site says: "Restricted Area"
Don't know about .GIFs as it seems nearly everywhere.

^ Yep...at least for some of us. Got an email from Mocky awhile ago saying he's checking into the problem. Canceling multiple times does make the Authentication/Restricted Area popup go away, but it comes back.

Thanks for the email. I'll let you know what I find out. IB is in California so it might be a little bit. Those west coasters are still drooling on their pillow
