MCO is running their Race School at SMP April 28 and 29.
Is this related?
[edit]
NM, I see you have it in the evening. I'll be there anyway but I'll probably be too pooped to do a double header. How much is it? (for kicks)

I have a question guys. I've owned my S2K for about 4 years now so pretty good on it, however when i handed the keys over to a Porsche instructor last yr I saw the car do things I never thought it was capable of!
Anyhow, I'm dying to take it out on the track this year sometime and was thinking of attending the Trillium Track course on the 28th, during the day. However I just ran into some financial difficulty.
Do you guys think its prudent to try out the track with no formal training prior? I know, just have to be precautious. Other then that though, what do you guys feel? I'd luv to hear some opinions.

For sure can't afford to be stupid. However, if I don't attend the trillium event..... and just go for the open lap session, do you think i'm gonna have problems? I can bring a buddy of mine with his 911, who could probably coach me alittle (instructor level skill at Porsche club) but thats the only option i have.
