MoSport DDT/GP 2017

While I haven't tried all the other tracks in Ontario, I think DDT offers the most compact yet fun packed track I've seen. The other ones can cater to higher speed straights but DDT is all about the quick transitions.

What are both your setups ?
I believe LDubz has a tune, KW v3 coilovers, Hankook Ventus RS3 225/45/17 front and 255/45/17 rear. DTC60 pads all around if I am correct.

What is your primary function for the car? My car was strictly autoX and track days. I used to drive around when the weather was good but the XP10s are loud if you wear off the transfer layer and it was getting old. The XP10s have yet to fade on me and the dust that comes off of it is VERY easy to clean even a few days afterwards. If you are lazy and don't want to bother cleaning your wheels, the XP10s offer good dusting factor with stopping power, durability and heat capacity. My only complaint is that initial bite isn't as strong which can lead to modulation issues. I didn't find this at first but as I got better at pushing the car to the limits, I found that the modulation isn't quite as linear as I'd like it to be.
I'm going to be trying out the Project Mu Club Racer RC09s next.

You have to find an organization renting the facility to get a lapping day. That means going with Touge.ca (NOPE!), Ian Law Advanced Driving School (as a lapper), Hanson School (as a 'student'), SPDA (if you have a roll bar which I don't), etc.
My next session there will be with Hanson School in October.

SPDA also has one on Sat Sep 10 - as long as you have a roll bar in your convertible, you'll be okay (their insurance requires this) you also need to become a member, which is something like $40 http://spda-online.ca/content.php

Also, when you bed them in the first time, do it at night and enjoy the light show! The only other downside is the immense brake dust.

When is the next lapping day at mosport DDT track? Wouldn't mind getting in one lapping day there this year.
