Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum and hope to stay for long after i purchase my first s2000 for this summer pretty soon. My budget is 10-13k on the road. I was looking at a few of options but found this (2001 Honda S2000 Convertible - Same Owner for 15 Years | used cars & trucks | City of Toronto | Kijiji) ad on kijiji to be intriguing. I've been a long time lurker and just want to get to your opinion now if this is a good buy or not. OR if anyone has checked it out to see it in person and can provide me with more info before I go check it out and fall in love with it and waste my money lol.

Seems strange that the car is on AT with 20000 more KMS.

If you are interested then I would have the car thoroughly inspected. Good luck.

You're right! totally missed that. Will definitely have to get it thoroughly checked by a professional. Going to check it out on Tuesday. Wish me luck xD

Thanks Nick, my 2003 top has a couple small wear spots and would either do a complete assembly or just the top. Will keep it in mind if I ever need a frame assembly.

FYI. I'm just pricing out a clutch MC for my '03. Honda sells them for $170 (46970s2a-003) which is actually the best price i've found compared to parts source ($181) and APC ($221).

still, even with the horrible USD/CAN exchange, available from Majestic for $107 USD (about $141 CAN) incl. shipping to my US address.

just thought i'd pass this along

I bought my S a year ago today. I recall the weather being a bit better but maybe I just drove it all the time because it was new. Looks like rain for the next week. Maybe I'll wait until April to put the insurance back on.

Happy Anniversary Norm!

Was getting excited to take the car out but then mother nature had to go and get cranky? Still have about a foot of snow here, was brown grass just over a week ago.

Snow doesn't really stick around downtown. But it's wet.
