I'd love to throw on my time when I actually get a decent time! I've been to this track at least 4 times now but only once was it dry and not crowded ... on my first ever outing with [utag=LDubz735]LDubz735[/utag ]!
Val D. and I were chatting and we were saying how epic your time list is - the only thing I wish your chart included was the weather conditions.
Added Dino Lopes (momo652) to the TMP lap time leaderboard. He ran a 1:19.63 in his Super Street spec 2000 S2000. This is good for 20th in class and 39th overall.
Does anyone know what lap times a stock AP2 should be able to do?
When my car was stock, I managed a low 1:25 on Goodyear Eagle F1 Allseason tires. I would say a 1:24 would be possible on the stock Bridgestone summer tires.

Bwahahaha, I was out at TMP doing some exercises for instructor training on TMP.
Our school booked the track and we jogged through it on my daily driver (a 2005 Toyota Echo hatchback). There were four people in total in the car, plus my work tools, plus spare rotors for my S2k - all in all, I probably had an extra 350-400lbs of dead weight.
Still managed to comfortably get a 2:03 without really pushing too hard. Really wanted to get under 2 but alas, it didn't happen.

I'm as close to stock as you can get for anyone who tracks their car (that I know of). The only caveat is that I have upsized tires (stock wheels) - 225 fronts, 255 rears.
I agree with SilviaDrift - I think 1:24.xxx is ultimately doable but you need to be perfect everywhere.
I ran a low 1:29 the first time I was out there and almost had a 1:27 in the next session but I messed up the technical portion. Ultimately, I aim to hit low 1:25 this year as a goal.
So I show up for open lapping, wound up getting asked by the owner to help him run the drivers meeting and marshall because he had a meeting with some folks. Said would take care of me - I wound up doing an impromptu drivers meeting and HALF the crowd are ROOKIES and almost everyone is driving a six figure car (I can count the few that weren't: 2 FRS'es, 1 STi, 2 Porsche 944, 1 Civic SI modded to hell, 1 BMW M3. The rest? MacClarens, Ferraris, GTRs, Radical and of course, this baby:
She never went to full V10 song though, I was sad.
True to his word, Uly (sp?) wound up letting me on for free but I wound up only doing one session to bed in my new Project Mu Club Racer pads... soooo good.
Still a beautiful day and no one crashed amazingly. Tons of people went off track though and I can't believe they don't have a BLUE flag in the marshalling equipment!!!
That track is pretty half assed ran. Trying to get guys off the track when a car needs to be towed off is almost impossible. No one knows the flags or cares for that matter. Grand bend is run way better
