best part: " he thinks his car, which has a manual transmission, could've rolled into Sham's car accidentally." LOL after he tells the cops the other guy hit him.

Oh yeah the asian guy is some dude I know.. And the brown guy no longer has his job where he used to work. He got charged and everything.. There was a full on day of arrests shortly after this all over GTA with cases that aren't related to this one, but just like it.

i kinda feel sorry for the guy in the tsx cause he was getting alot of heat from everyone, people vandalizing his house etc, but then i look at how much i pay for insurance and the feeling goes away.

/ slightly off topic but one guy posted about TD Meloche Monnex insurance... Im almost 22 with a clean record, just got a quote from them insuring all my mods (coilovers, wheels, exhaust, sound system) for 166 a month without collision and 203 with.
Regardless its an amazing deal for someone my age or atleast compared to what I was paying before

With your dash cam you might also end up capturing stuff you might not want to see like this - warning this can be a bit disturbing as you witness a fatality occurring in action.

I was in college with Herman Sham for a year. He's a very honest, polite and humble guy with nothing to gain out of this besides rightfully defending himself in this situation. That said, we will never know the exact dialog between the two people involved in this incident. I think the punishment and harassment from the information we know of the accident so far is a bit harsh and the driver of the TSX has had his life torn to shreds over such a minor thing. There was likely no damage beyond a scuff that could be easily buffed out with some compound in about 2 minutes.
Its a shame he was stupid enough to call the OPP and get the law involved when his own actions caused the incident. Even after allegedly being told the entire incident was recorded he still proceeded to call. At that point he should have been smart enough and walked away and said ok never mind have a nice day.

I work in the insurance industry. March is "fraud month" When I saw this I cringed. These scams go on everyday, thankfully or luckily the innocent driver was prepared with evidence to back up his claim of the scam. It's an industry statistic that 20% of all insurance claims are fraudulent. That's one of the reasons for the changes to auto insurance benefit coverages in the Fall of 2010. To reduce the fraudulent claims for personal injuries. I'm glad there was a huge bust in Toronto, coincidentally, the week after this scam made the Internet.
