It does but on the 06+ The helmholtz is close to touching the underbody. The stock exhaust helmholtz on the 06+ Is oval instead of round.

Yes, it is significantly quieter.
Coming from a guy whom had a t1r 63mm single before as well as the stock exhaust with UK mod
