how well does this work with an intercooler? I ask because the intercooler blocks a lot of air and I wanted to know if there is enough air allowed by the intercooler to make this effective?

This is actually better for people using intercoolers. The reason being that by adding an intercooler you make it harder for air to flow through the intercooler, Ac condenser and radiator and more likely to flow over it. By adding a radiator cooling panel you force the air through the intercooler by not allowing it to flow over it. This should help to increase your cooling efficiency
