Would you be able to take some pics with the top down to see how it sits in relation to the steering wheel?
(edit) Maybe from the top of the driver side seat or wind deflector. With both the steering wheel and knob in the pic... sorry if that's a little too asking

how far does it travel back when in 2nd, 4th or 6th gear? i notice with the stock shifter as it is when im in one of those gears my elbow gets close to the glove box/center console thing, especially if i have something plugged into the cigarette lighter outlet. i dont have long arms, im asian, im just sayin. would a little bend forward help or would that bring it too close to the dash? i could be retarded lol?

In 3rd however (depending on your shift knob grip) there is about 1" space between my knuckle and the dash, so bending it wouldn't be a good idea

ive always wanted an extender and was going to fab one someday but here they are 
i tried to find one here in tokyo but the ones they sell here dont have the right tread pattern and wouldnt fit.
i want one, plus that heavy ass knob and a short shifter FTW!
