I'm planning to fly down to Knoxville next weekend and pickup a Spa Yellow AP1.

Car has been in Knoxville/TN since about 2009, seems largely stock except for red badges & the larger OEM (potentially a replica) spoiler.

2001, 125k miles or so, also has red brake calipers.

Anything would be great, I don't want to fly down if the car has been beat on.

Its at a dealership, jvcshad actually was kind enough to take time out of day today to test drive for me. Between the lies from the dealership and his report...I passed on the car and ran away as quickly as I could.

Quick summary but:
-Steering felt sluggish
-Trans didn't love downshifting like it should
-Bumper had a mediocre respray & driver's fender was loose
-Clutch felt soft

That combined with the dealership lying to me about the condition of the tires was enough to turn me away. Tires aren't a huge deal for me buying a car, I'd rather put things on that I want rather than cheap all-season put on by most people...but I needed to get the car back to Wisconsin which I'd have been to do on 1/2 tread life all-seasons...turns out both rears are to their wearbars & they refused to fix unless I paid 100% of the costs involved.

Decent price, but thats a going rate price in good shape and good tires is apart of that. They should replace them if they are that low, however, they probably dont know the s2000 and how quick someone could wreck that car.
