Default WTB: Project s2000 / Starting the search

Keep your eyes open for me. I am not in a rush to buy, but when I get back from Uganda(for those who do not know, adoption) I want to start the search.

Currently the little dude can only say momma, dada and car....Yes, car! So, I want to get a project in the garage for him..cough cough..yes him

Really dont wanna spend more than 5000 as I want it to be a project. Maybe something with a blown motor, or just a shell. Even a car someone has taken apart and still has everything, but has lost interest.

Need it to be Clean and Clear title. Insurance has told me I can not insurance anything that's salvage or rebuilt title(hence a blown motor car, or shell).

If it needs bumpers, or easily replacable parts, I am find with it. Just no major wrecks. Id be open to a fender bender, as long as I can get it insured.

Going to try and get back on the forms a bit more!!

While your no rebuilt or salvage title narrows it down, Brian Yorks and Kris Popovic have 8-10 shells to pick from. I don't know how many have clean titles but the selection is plentiful. Let me know when you get back to the states and I will see what they got. I do know they both need to get rid of a few.

I talked to Kris for a bit. He has an option, but I have another option that is better now.

No Rebuilt or Salvage because my insurance will not insure them

Although I don't daily mine anymore, almost (180k) I wouldn't hesitate to get it as long as it looks like its been taken cared of and the price is right.

Be good to have you back in the game with one. I thought with the little one showing up it would never happen.

The one I am looking at is 9,997, as long as it looks as good as the pics, I'll be happy

Checking prices on all these S2k give me hope I'll find a decent FC20 when Mine decides to finally give up.

Lots to be had under $8000. Wrecked ones with low mileages too.
