Cupcake Meet/COTA parade lap
Hey guys!
Just trying to put the word out where I can buy another cupcake meet is gonna happen at COTA. But! It may not happen if they do not have 300 entries for their parade lap. The cost is $60 which includes the entry fee for the event itself and you plus a passenger get to drive I believe 3 laps at a limited speed.
If you're on Facebook here is a link to the page for the event: http://ow.ly/RU9Xg
If you're not familiar with these cupcake meets, they're usually 100% donation. Any car can go out there. Although as far as the fee, I'm sure part of that 60$ is going towards the COTA fee. Usually the fee for a cupcake meet is like $10 per car $5/passenger.
I know it's not a track day, but if you haven't driven out there at least you can get a taste and donate at the same time.
They will also be an autocross and drift exhibition going on as well!
You can sign up through here:

It does prompt you to an app to sign up through. You will not be charged until the event is finalized.
I'll be out there!

This day was a blast, we ended up having the track from 9:30 - noon. I got in 12 laps, some were pretty fast as the pace cars were driving at speed. The best laps were when the Lexus LFA was our pace car!

I heard the same. I also saw him driving out. Wasn't too bad, lost a bit of his bumper. Overall with a bunch of inexperienced track drivers and the number of cars/laps it was pretty clean and fun!
