Default Hardtop owners in San Antonio / Laredo area?

I have a mostly stock AP2 that I'm considering getting a hardtop for. But I'd like to ride in a car that has one before I pull the trigger. A lot of people seem to be going for the Mugen style replica models. I don't think I can justify going OEM at the price. Anyone in the area have one that they'd be willing to let me sit in and inspect?

I have that hard top and live in South Austin. I'll even through in that if you do buy one I will install it for you if I can get your softtop. I miss having one.

Do you like your top? Where did you get it from?

love my OEM. highly recommend it. but I know my buddy Sean has a double side CF Mugen top from forbidden with oem hardware and seals and he has had rubbing on his paint and squeaks since installing.

I like it. If you can afford oem it's way better. But for me $1k was a good price point. Oem is more around $3k, and that I can't justify. I bought mine from a local guy.

I've had both OEM and an OEM-style all-carbon top from Forbidden. If you can by any means afford an OEM one, hands down do it. The replica looked nice and was light enough to move with one person, but it let light through without paint, the mounts were simple bare aluminum that can scratch the top, and road noise was just as bad as the soft top.

If you're still shopping, I have an OEM that you can ride around in. I've had it since 2008 and it's been really nice. We installed a hoist in the garage for easy removal and storage. I'm in south Austin but would be happy to go for a drive to SA
