According to our Austin Chapter they have found a place that has better ribs than Blacks. A rumor like this requires investigation! However due to the extreme temperatures and the limited hours of operation we need to get to the bbq place early in the morning. After we have our rib breakfast we will enjoy the back roads on the way home.

Start location is the Exxon station in Hempstead: 2000 FM 1488 at the corner of 290 and 1488
(2000 FM 1488 Rd, Hempstead, TX 77445)

Drivers meeting at 7:30 AM. If you want to meet us at Snows we will be there from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

Drive back to Houston on the back roads. should be home mid afternoon.

Other items:

1) Regular drive rules apply, no passing, no racing, keep control of your car.
2) Leave your race car at home, we will be driving at a conservative pace.
3) Wear you pants with elastic waste band to allow for proper bbq consumption.

Been meaning to get out to Snow's since I missed the Austin group drive out there. There's about a 90% chance myself and a buddy with an '83 911 SC will head out to meet y'all.
