Wow, the car looks great!
What more can you tell us about the transmission and differential setup?

Checked compression ratio today it is 11.2:1 so I will be changing the head gasket after round 1 to a oem head gasket this should put it at 11.7:1 compression. I wasn't sure on the pistons the car had they were supposed to be 11:1 f20c pistons when I purchased them years ago when we checked compression on the f20c it showed 10:1. At that time I was thinking ok so it's 10:1 we will just boost it. The engine failed and I decided to build a f24c. I was thinking it would be about a 12:1 engine if I kept the pistons. Had new valves installed in the head, when I got the old ones back there was a bent one so I thought maybe that is why the compression was low. So I put a .040" head gasket in so it would be 12.2:1. So turns out the car does have 10:1 f20c pistons. Also after round 1 plan on moving rev limit up to 8k

So here we go, installed oem intake and made 20hp built a cold air intake and picked up 10hp so the car now makes 240hp and 180tq. So here's how the weekend went. Arrived early and got a good pit spot, car passed tech without any problems. First practice session went great got the track figured out pretty fast. Started doing some tandem practice in my other practice sessions. Had lunch then it was qualifying time. We were one of the last to make qualifying runs. First run went and ran the line the judges were wanting us to the best I could had trouble getting our short car to the outside of the first corner, was a little off the nose clips and went a bit too wide on the second outer zone and hit a cone. For the second run I was focusing on more angle and getting closer to the nose clips.

We qualified 33 just missed the show they we taking top 32.

Sunday we ran practice and gave ride alongs.

Take aways from the event. We need to change the the final drive in the car and time to out nitrous on the car. The ran great all weekend no issues at all. Our tent was busy all weekend with people asking about the car. We showed the S2000 can be a good drift car.

So here are a few pics media got of the car. See ya at Lone Star Drift Rd 3

Awesome! I wish I could have made it out.

Glad to hear you were at least able to go out and have fun. Keep us updated on future events you're attending.

Also if you're on Facebook check out the group Hous2k it's the new "forum" I guess.

Awesome pictures. Can't wait to see it in person glad to hear about the changes in powrr also.
