6K miles on the rears was about average for me on the S-02s, although that usually included some autocrossing and track days.
If you're doing an alignment within factory limits, the Firestone on Campbell and Plano (or Jupiter?) has a guy named James that does a good job. He's recommended by the Miata guys. I've used him once and he did good. Last time I went in, though, they wouldn't do custom specs for me, because they were outside of factory range, even though I was willing to pay for the "one-time alignment" instead of using my lifetime alignment.

Autoscope. I can't recommend them enough. A little pricey but they will do the alignment to whatever specs you like and will get it exact. They also will let you make an appointment and get it done quickly.
If it's a street car you may consider less negative camber as that's probably the source of the wear. That, or excessive drifting.

I'd be happy to get 6,000. I average 3,000 on the rear RE-01R's. What does your tire wear look like (outside shoulder, inside shoulder, even/uneven).
the fronts when i replaced them were TERRIBLE
inside 1/3rd = cord, outside 2/3rds = BRAND ****ING NEW
they still look new but are showing signs of scuffing on the leading edge of the treadblocks, not sure how else to describe it
the rears, were bought in june or july and passenger side is dangerous in the rain, drivers side is to the wear bars, wear is once again on most of the inner 1/3rd
my problem is i want some pss9 but a buncha bills came up around now... so $1500 for tires and coilovers and however much for an alignment
orrrr...
$250 for tires and OEM 4x4 springs and however much for an alignment... when im going to get coilovers asap anyway and then need the car aligned again

Yeah probably too much toe. Camber won't kill your tires fast if you have little to no toe. My tires die quickly but there is even wear across the face of the tire. I run quite a bit of camber front and rear.
