Default Euro car parts discussion

I'm in a conversation with Euro car parts, They are offering a 67% black Friday discount, I've asked them why the price of 5W40 Castrol edge has gone up to a whopping £64.32 today. so with the "discount" bringing it back to £42.77 far more than I can get it on Amazon.
Beware of the specials and look carefully at the prices.

I bought some 5w/40 Castrol edge for £30.69 (4litres) at Halfords today using my trade card.

Amazon are selling them same for £29.

You trying to tell me that traders are hiking their prices up ahead of Black Friday discounts?!

I find that hard to believe...

It's the bare faced front of doubling the price so they can half it again that got me. I will never be buying anything from them again.

Shop them to Trading Standards. Have you kept proof such as screen shots?

Trick with ECP is to buy oil before you need it. There are great offers from time to time but they don't necessarily align with headline discount deals.

Does anyone actually fall for this Racist Friday shit?

I've bought so much discounted oil in the past, some of it's reached its best before date...
