Just a thought - has anyone ever tried using different diameter pipe for each side? Does anyone have any thoughts on how this may sound? Would it possibly give a 'two tone' note to the exhaust?

I wouldn't really know as passers by get a better ear full than the driver, but like i say folk who have had the mod done do ask why mine sounds different even though i didn't mention it for a couple of years, i did 28mm and 38mm

I've recently returned S2000 ownership after selling my old one a couple of years ago. I had Ray mod the exhaust for me back in summer of 2012. I drove from London all the way to Congleton to have it done.
Unfortunately, I can't spare the time to make that sort of trip again. Can anyone recommend someone to do this for me around South London? ch3tman recommend someone back in 2014 but I don't think they're around anymore

Just a wee reminder in case no one saw it....there's a fantastic group buy in the offing on Milltek Single exit exhausts right now, so when you get bored of the zaust mod get your names down!!

It's proven to actually make a bit of NA power when mapped * and obvs it saves a ton of weight **
notes
* May not make extra power
** will not save an actual ton but you know what I mean

Hi guys,
The search function isn't working on my phone so..
Has anyone done a db reading with a decat and 44mm pipe?
As a few UK tracks have 95db so just checking if that's OK?
Otherwise could go for 38mm to reduce the db a bit? But I'd like it closer to 90db full throttle as possible.
Cheers

Sound level will depend on where the reading is taken. Standard road legal noise level where I am is usually measured about 2 feet away and at a 45° angle from the exhaust tip. Some track measurements are taken several feet away including, in some cases, the track outside fence. Noise levels are exponential so they decease rapidly with range.
